Be Rested

Spend time daily in the presence of the Lord in quiet meditation.  During this time of resting in His presence you will gain strength physically, emotionally and spiritually as you reflect on His attributes.  Example:

I love You fervently and devotedly, O Lord, my Strength.  The Lord is my Rock, my Fortress, and my Deliverer; my God, my keen and firm Strength in Whom I will trust and take refuge; my Shield, and the Horn of my Salvation, my High Tower.  I will call upon the Lord, Who is to be praised; so shall I be saved from my enemies.  (Psalm 18:1-3)

 "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest.  [I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls]."  Matthew 11:28

Be Reflective

    To be in His presence is to reflect His glory: "Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.  And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into His likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit."  II Corinthians 3:17-18  

Be Reverent

It is important to enter into His presence in reverence: "But as for me, I will enter Your house through the abundance of Your steadfast love and mercy; I will worship toward and at Your holy temple in reverent fear and awe of You."  Psalm 5:7

Be Rejoiceful

Dark clouds may seem to fill a day with darkness, but lifting up your eyes to the Light of the world will give you cause to rejoice and face the difficulty that seems to consume you.  "This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it." Psalm 118: 24
